(AP) — You may want to look into the possibility of attending a government arts College for Women, but it’s not likely you’ll be able to find one.
The Oregon State University (OSU) Department of Arts & Sciences is considering adding the college for girls to the list of programs offered at the state university.
It’s a first for OSU, which already offers several other colleges and universities to women.OSU’s Division of Arts and Sciences was established in 2012.
The college was created to promote women in STEM and engineering careers.
The college offers classes in visual arts, music, theater, dance, photography and design.
It also offers an associate degree in film and media production.
The department says the college is in the process of updating the programs it offers to reflect the needs of the changing economy.OSM students may be able access some classes offered by the University of Oregon, Portland State University, Oregon State Polytechnic University and Oregon State Universities in Portland, Eugene, Salem and Beaverton.
