Kerala’s government-appointed college of women has granted a government degree for more than 50 women in the state.
The college, which has a staff of 100, is one of the few state government-run colleges offering the Bachelor of Business Administration in Kerala.
In a letter to the college’s director, Dr Ramesh Rajagopal, the government said the government has given the certificate of government degree of over 100 female students in Kerala who are currently studying in the college.
It also said the college has awarded a government loan worth Rs 15 lakh to all students enrolled in its program.
It said the students will be receiving Rs 1.6 lakh annually for their expenses for the year and the certificate is valid for three years.
